Story
I am taking part in the Toronto marathon in Canada on the 17th October 2010. I am running this marathon for my beautiful baby niece, Ella. Ella sadly died on December 15th 2009 from Meningitis, she was only 18 days old. My aim in running this event is to try and raise as much money as I possibly can for Meningitis UK and the 'Search 4 A Vaccine' campaign. The campaign aims to raise 7 million pounds to help fund research to develop a vaccine against Meningitis B, for which there is currently no vaccine. I am taking on this challenge for Ella in the hope that one day enough money can be raised to eradicate this cruel and unjust disease. I would appreciate any support that you can give me no matter how small. Simon, Lucie, Toby and Mia... I will do you all proud and I will not give up until that finish line is well and truly crossed.
